KOSTER CAMPAIGN RELEASES SECOND
TELEVISION AD
Ad Stresses Decade of Law Enforcement
Experience and Principles that Led Koster to Join the Democrats
First Ad Now Airing Statewide
Jefferson City, MO – Chris Koster’s campaign for Attorney General
today announced the release of its second television ad. The
thirty-second ad, “All Prosecutor,” continues the campaign’s
unprecedented statewide television campaign for a down-ballot race.
The ad highlights how Chris Koster’s ten years of experience as Cass
County Prosecuting Attorney make him uniquely qualified to be Missouri’s
next Attorney General. It also addresses the principles and issues for
which Koster has fought passionately during his 15 years in public
service, and that ultimately led him to join the Democrats.
The ad appeals to the strong desire of Missouri voters that their
Attorney General not be a typical politician, but rather a strong,
independent leader who is prepared to be the state’s next chief law
enforcement officer. The ad will begin airing in St. Louis and Kansas
City today, while the campaign’s first ad, “Standing up for Everyone,”
will continue to broaden its reach statewide, airing in Springfield,
Columbia, and Cape Girardeau as of today.
Koster is the only candidate in the race, Democrat or Republican,
with any prosecutorial experience. As Cass County Prosecuting Attorney,
Koster amassed approximately 20 homicide convictions, two Supreme Court
victories and thousands of felony convictions.
In August 2007, he gave up the fourth ranking position in the
Missouri State Senate to join the Democrats, becoming the chamber’s
lowest ranking member.
You can watch “All
Prosecutor” HERE.
SCRIPT – “All Prosecutor.”
VO:Chris Koster spent ten years successfully prosecuting the bad guys
– from deadbeat dads, to sexual predators, to one of the worst serial
killers in U.S. history.
And when the Republican Party turned its back on stem cell research,
workers’ rights, and child day care, Koster turned his back on the
Republican Party.
It wasn’t easy. But leadership never is.
Koster, a Missouri Democrat for Attorney General.
All prosecutor. No politics.
